My Ambition

I really hope that i can become a successful chef, I want to become a chef that know everything and every cuisine. Cook a nice food is not enough. I feel that cook a nice food that can attract customer soul are more difficult, so become a successful chef is not as easy as we think, so before i become a successful chef i will work in ideal hotel for 5 years, after i save enough money i will go oversea and learn others countries food cuisine. I also want to become a ec in the future, the first thing i need to do is get more experience...

The Life in Shatec

This was the theory class in our school, although a bit boring but i still found that we can learn allot of knowledge in theory class. Kitchen Organisation, Food Course Control, Beverage any some others subject. I trust that everything must start from the beginning, just like "Bambino". In this three semester we not only had teory class, we got also did our EC and work in "Charcoal", that was a nice and good experience, we learn how the really life in outlet. The sir in "Charcoal" also got teach us how to differentiate of the beef, how to prepare the mise-en-place for the hi-tea and function. Nowadays i still study in school, hopefully we can continue to learn allot of things^^.

Me, a "Bambino".

My name is Patrick Loh Cheng Yong, 20 years old. Is a Malaysian, as a foreigner, it was very hard to survive in other's contry, that is the reason why i call myself "Bambino". "Bambino" is an Italian word, this word i learn it from one drama name "Bambino", "Bambino" mean baby just born and don't know anything. i just feel my own just like a "Bambino" in chef world, i really like cooking, but i still not enough skill. In this line, is not as simple as people say, we need to be very hard working, i feel that no body can take a short cut in this line. I very happy that can study in Shatec, that is because i can improve my cooking skill and can get working experiences in semi fine dining restaurant. Now i already know all the basic knowledge in cooking. Now my dream is can be a chef in famous hotel. Let pray for me and hope someday the "Bambino" become somebody.
